About Me

My photo
Welcome to our family blog. We created this blog so that our family here and in Egypt can share with us in the joy of having Jacob in our lives. It's very hard for us to have family so far away and we want them to see Jacob grow and know him well. We miss them all and can't wait to see you very soon. Enjoy!

GRRRRRRRRR

Jacob LOVES tigers and lions. He will growl at all times of the day. As I said before his wonderful babysitter, Ms.Colleen, loaned him two old costumes her sons used. Jacob carries them everywhere he goes. He allowed me to finally put one on today. It lasted 2 minutes.

Brushah Brushah Brushah

Jacob has been brushing his teeth for quite a few months now. He loves it and thinks he is a "big boy" when he can sit on the sink and brush with Mommy. I really can't believe how he has grown. Even seeing him everyday I see how he changes in so many ways. Right now he only lives and breathes Poppa. They have a unique bond that is really precious to watch.

Mac-n-Cheese

Daddy was a wonderful help last night. He fed Jacob and boy did he make a mess. Jacob is learning to use his utensils. After getting the food on the spoon or fork he then takes it off with his hands and shoves it in his mouth. I guess it takes time, huh? Anyway, Daddy took some pictures of the after mass........still a sweetie.

Tunnel Fun!!!!

Today Jacob and I were playing in his tunnel he got from Grandmama for Christmas. He loves to hide as you all know. The tiger costume came from Ms. Colleen, his babysitter. He thinks he is a lion/tiger half the day so she loaned him this old costume. Too cute, huh?

Merry Christmas everyone. I pray Santa was good to you all. He sure was good to Jacob. Santa brought him a tent, a rider, and a rocking zebra. Uncle Rob and Aunt Amanda gave him an Elmo chair. He was so tired from playing. We still have the family Christmas coming on Saturday so he'll probably getore,,,,geesh! Love to all, Ashraf, Mandy, and Jacob

Deck the Halls

Jacob helped Nona decorate her house for Christmas. He really liked how the ornaments tasted. He has a short fuse because he got tired of putting ornaments on the tree so he started throwing them on the tree. Nona loved it anyway. Which is so funny because when we were growing up you couldn't play when it came to Christmas decorations. But Jacob can do anything.

Charlotte Christmas

We just returned from our annual Christmas trip to Charlotte. Jacob is getting his molars so at times he was grumpy. Here he is with his Nona.

All Jacob's cousin took their turns outside for pictures. They look thrilled don't they. I have to admit we have some gorgeous kiddies.

Found Ashraf.............napping with Uncle Jack

We really did have a wonderful time. I'm always so excited about the Christmas in Charlotte. As a child that was one of the BEST things about Christmas. I sure miss my Mamaw and Papaw, but I love my family so much.
